These present as muscle knots that can be the size of a pea all the way through to an elongated, ropey section of painful muscle. These are treated with via massage, trigger point pressure and dry needles. Dry needling does not normally hurt and can give tremendous benefit. I have found this to be a really helpful and a great add on to general muscle work.
